The Hexagonal Hive and a Mouse in a Maze premiered in June 2024 in the International Competition at Sheffield Doc/Fest. Its international premiere followed at Telluride in August 2025. Since then, it has screened at Cologne IFF, Dokumentale in Berlin, the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, the Uruguay International Film Festival, Docs Against Gravity in Warsaw, LAF in Zwierzyniec, and the DMZ International Documentary Festival in South Korea. It also opened this year’s Cambridge Festival and enjoyed a theatrical run at the Siskel Film Center in Chicago. In June 2025 it won the Accolade Outstanding Achievement Award.
